In 2012 the European Cement Research Academy is offering six seminars focusing on the following topics:

• Environmental requirements and performance of cement-based building materials
• Trends in concrete technology and their influence on concrete constituents
• Influence of fuel and raw material properties on the characteristics of clinker and cement 
• Thermal energy efficiency and waste heat recovery
• Modern maintenance management
• Hydration of blended cements

Continuing the tradition of holding our seminars at different European locations to underline our close cooperation with our member companies, this year’s venues are in Germany, Poland and Portugal. Several of the seminars include a half-day visit to a cement plant, and all include an evening dinner to provide sufficient time and opportunity for discussion with fellow participants and the lecturers in an informal atmosphere.
